Eagle Intermodal Services, Inc. has been in business since 1979, providing intermodal ramp management services and operating as a division of Eagle Systems, Inc. In early 2002, this division was spun off into a separate company.
Eagle Intermodal Services, Inc. (EISI) provides ramp/deramp services placing trailers and containers on and off railroad flatcars; maintenance of lifting equipment; container and chassis repair; and, a variety of administrative and management services principally to Class 1 railroads. Eagle Systems, and now EISI, has grown into a major supplier of intermodal terminal services in the United States.
